Turtle Tidings! Join me on a sewer sleigh ride and celebrate the holiday season with Turtle Power. Throughout December, I'll be featuring a slew of seasonal Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles items from past to present. In The Sewer Den's 5th year running, Cowabunga Christmas will be brimming with festive creations, wacky discoveries, and plenty of pizza! Get merry.
OOZING WITH HOLIDAY SPIRIT
Sometimes I wish there were only three Ninja Turtles. Don’t get me wrong, the fearsome four can’t be beat. But sometimes, that fourth Turtle makes life difficult. All too often that fourth Turtle keeps a set from being complete. Well, that fourth Turtle struck again. A radical set of retro ornaments dangles from my Christmas tree incomplete - all because of that fourth Turtle.
NAUGHTY OR NICE?
Let’s ignore that these three amigos are missing a buddy. Even as a trio, the retro ornaments are solid. Each one features the likeness from the classic cartoon with their signature happy-go-lucky charm. There’s not much holiday spirit though. You could hang these ornaments from a cactus in July & no one would bat an eye. With Raphael missing, there isn’t even any red to accompany the green. Not so merry. If you’re looking for more Christmas cheer out of your decorations, these dudes might leave you wanting more.
COWABUNGA CONCLUSION
Whether you only have one retro ornament or a complete set of four, these Turtles and their goofy grins are a pizza-powered touch to your Christmas tree. They’re simple, but bring enough positive vibes that their lack of festive fun is dismissible. But seriously, that fourth Turtle is a real pain. Hope you have better luck than me scoring the set!

Forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza.
